Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
How wide is the assembled Carter crib, and does a 54-inch product-width ceiling admit it?
Delta lists the W109150 full-size crib at 54 inches wide. It meets a 54-inch product-width ceiling exactly; that number does not include access, delivery, nearby furniture or conversion clearance.
Explore this need in the finder →What does Carter's six-in-one conversion count include, and which parts are separate?
Delta lists crib, toddler bed, daybed, sofa, adult full-size bed with headboard and footboard, and adult full-size bed with headboard only. The product page says the Daybed/Sofa Rail is included; toddler guardrail W100825 and adult-bed rails Style 0050 are sold separately. These are sequential stages, not six simultaneous crib sizes.
Explore this need in the finder →Can Carter meet a requirement that its standard full-size crib package include a mattress?
No. Delta's exact product page says the standard-size crib mattress is sold separately, so the base manufacturer-described package does not document an included full-size mattress. A seller-added bundle was not checked.

One full-size crib family, three finish choices
Delta Children’s U.S. crib catalogue lists the Carter 6-in-1 Convertible Crib under Simmons Kids. Its product page and structured product record identify one product family, W109150, with three finishes: Bianca White (W109150-130), Grey (W109150-026), and Ebony (W109150-0011). The sources do not establish a functional or dimensional difference among these color variants, so they are treated as one crib family rather than three different mechanisms.
The official assembled dimensions are 54 inches wide, 40.25 inches high and 32.5 inches deep; the listed product weight is 49.72 pounds. The 54-inch width is a first room-planning figure, not clearance. It does not include access to nearby furniture, delivery through a doorway, or conversion space. Measure those routes separately and consider how the later bed configurations will fit.
What the six settings actually describe
Delta names a full-size crib, toddler bed, daybed, sofa, full-size bed with a headboard and footboard, and full-size bed with a headboard only. These are sequential furniture arrangements, not six crib sizes and not setups used at once. The adult-bed options are important if long-term reuse is your reason for choosing a 6-in-1 frame, but they are different from a later full-size crib stage. The product does not document a mini crib, midi crib or bassinet configuration.
Package details change the practical value of that conversion count. Delta says the Daybed/Sofa Rail is included with the crib, while the toddler guardrail W100825 and full-size bed conversion rails, style 0050, are sold separately. A standard bed-frame option is described for a headboard-only bed, but the frame is not included either. The linked instructions show how the original crib pieces are disassembled and reused as headboard and footboard components; the separate bed-rail system then joins those pieces. A future-stage plan therefore depends on keeping the original parts, finding the right conversion rail, and confirming the rail style for the exact crib label—not just on the number printed in the product name.
Mattress fit and support adjustments are the near-term checks
The standard full-size crib mattress is sold separately. The manufacturer-linked Carter booklet specifies a mattress at least 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inches, with thickness no greater than 6 inches. Those are limits for this model’s crib setup, not an endorsement of every mattress marketed as “standard”; compare the mattress label and the actual booklet before use. A too-small sleep surface or a mattress that exceeds the specified thickness is not a harmless fit variation.
The support has three height positions. The manual reserves the highest position for a newborn and says to lower the support when the child can pull to standing; it also sets a minimum 3-inch gap between the top of the front side and the mattress surface when the support is at its highest. The manual tells caregivers to stop using the crib once a child starts climbing out or reaches 35 inches tall, whichever comes first. These are specific manufacturer instructions, so keep the instructions with the crib and follow the one supplied with the physical unit.
Conversion and assembly are not one-time details
For the toddler-bed arrangement, the manual specifies guardrail W100825, a minimum user age of 15 months, and a 50-pound maximum user weight. It warns about entrapment openings in toddler-bed parts. The daybed and sofa use the conversion rail as shown in the booklet, and the support must be in its lowest position for that arrangement. Do not treat a bed conversion as a shortcut around those directions.
The booklet calls for adult assembly and says to read and keep the instructions. It includes an M4 Allen wrench, but lists a flat-head screwdriver as not supplied; Delta also says a power screwdriver is not needed and should not be used. This gives a prospective buyer a more grounded setup expectation than a vague “easy assembly” claim: plan to assemble it carefully, retain the hardware and manual, and check fasteners and parts as the manufacturer directs. The booklet cover is dated February 27, 2024, revision R0, but its Style, Lot and Date fields are blank and instruct the owner to compare them with the label on the left crib end. That leaves the physical unit’s exact instruction bridge to be checked at delivery, especially before a conversion.
Material and certification statements are manufacturer claims
Delta describes New Zealand pine and TSCA-compliant engineered wood and lists GREENGUARD Gold and JPMA certification claims. This review did not independently inspect materials, certificates, emissions results or laboratory records. Such statements can help narrow a list, but do not replace checking the model label and manual. A narrow SaferProducts.gov search for W109150 returned no result; that is not clearance for a particular unit, lot or serial number.
Who should shortlist it
Carter is worth considering if a 54-inch listed full-size crib width fits your measured plan, you want a three-position mattress support, and the later furniture stages matter enough to justify the parts and checks they require. It is a poor fit if your non-negotiable is a smaller crib footprint, a documented wheeled arrangement, or a base package that includes the standard full-size mattress. The manufacturer’s official image shown here is the Ebony finish in crib mode; the room styling and patterned mattress cover are not evidence of what a seller’s carton contains.
For exact references, see the Simmons Kids Carter W109150 product page and its linked Booklet A, 45157-W109150(A)-R0. Check the exact color SKU, package, manual revision and any separately purchased rails rather than assuming that a similar-looking crib or sibling model uses the same parts.
