Delta Children Emery 4-in-1 Convertible Crib review

A full-size crib family with two observed finish SKUs, three mattress-support positions and maker-documented toddler-bed, daybed and adult full-size-bed arrangements. Delta lists a 55.75-inch width; the standard mattress is separate, as are the toddler guardrail and adult-bed frame.

A useful fit for

A household comparing a conventional full-size crib that can later be reconfigured as a toddler bed, daybed and adult full-size bed. The exact product data records White 7380-100 and Grey 7380-026 as one observed functional family, and Delta lists the crib frame at 55.75 inches wide.

The main tradeoff

The standard mattress, toddler guardrail and adult-bed frame are separate checks; Delta's page says the daybed rail is included, but no physical seller package was inspected. No mini, midi, bassinet or wheeled sleep arrangement is documented. The 55.75-inch frame width is not room or access clearance, and the page-linked booklets have blank style fields that do not identify an individual crib/manual pair.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

At what finder width does the Emery first pass?

Delta lists the Emery at 55.75 inches wide. The finder uses half-inch steps, so 55.5 inches excludes this maker-listed frame and 56 inches is the first selectable width ceiling that admits it. That is product width only; allow separately for the room, access route and conversion space.

Does the Emery crib package include its standard mattress?

No. Delta says the standard crib mattress is sold separately. The linked instructions specify at least 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inches and no more than 6 inches thick; confirm the actual mattress against the crib label and the correct instructions.

Can the Emery be configured as a mini crib or bassinet?

The reviewed Emery page and its linked 4-in-1 booklets document a full-size crib, toddler bed, daybed and adult full-size bed, not a mini-crib, bassinet or midi-crib sleep arrangement. Its full-size dimensions should not be repurposed as a smaller crib measurement.

Which exact hardware should be checked for a later stage?

Delta says the daybed rail is included but the toddler guardrail and adult-bed frame are separate. The linked booklets identify toddler guardrail Style 0080 and adult-bed frame Style 0040. Verify the correct instruction revision and the seller package against the actual crib label.

Are wheels documented for the Emery sleep arrangement?

The examined Emery product page, captured product data and linked booklets do not document wheels for a crib sleep setup. This assessment does not infer mobility from the conversion count or a different crib family.

This is a source-based assessment of the Delta Children Emery 7380 crib family, not a hands-on test. I did not assemble, own, measure or receive a physical crib. The evidence is limited to Delta’s frozen U.S. Cribs row, its exact White-variant page and structured product data, the manuals linked from that page, an exact-variant image and a narrow recall-database query.

Two recorded finishes, one full-size crib family

The frozen Delta Children U.S. crib collection identifies Emery product record 6202915061960. Its exact product data lists White 7380-100 (UPC 080213031879) and Grey 7380-026 (UPC 080213054472), with different variant IDs and selected images. The captured sources do not establish a functional or dimensional difference between those finishes, so this assessment treats them as one crib family rather than two models. The image shown here is specifically mapped to White 7380-100. It depicts an assembled full-size crib; bedding, room styling and the pictured mattress are not evidence of a seller’s package contents.

A 55.75-inch listed width is not the room plan

Delta lists the assembled Emery at 55.75 inches wide, 44 inches high and 30.25 inches deep, with a product weight of 45.4 pounds. These are manufacturer-published figures, not measurements taken for this review. On the finder’s half-inch grid, a 55.5-inch product-width ceiling rejects the listed frame and 56 inches is the first selectable ceiling that admits it. Compare the 55.5-inch width-only result with the 56-inch result, or keep the full-size-start and later-full-size-stage choices in the 55.5-inch combined case and 56-inch combined case. For the same combined requirements with earlier models included, compare 55.5 inches with 56 inches. These answers compare a crib’s listed width only—not floor space, doorways, delivery access, caregiver movement or the extra room needed to convert it.

Full-size crib start, followed by different furniture arrangements

Delta describes a sequence from full-size crib to toddler bed, daybed and full-size adult bed. These are arrangements used one at a time; the 4-in-1 label does not mean four crib sizes or simultaneous sleep spaces. The product page says the daybed rail is included, while the toddler guardrail and full-size bed frame are sold separately. The linked instructions call for Style 0080 for toddler-bed use and Style 0040 for the adult full-size-bed frame. A future stage therefore depends on identifying the right part and checking the actual offer, not simply counting the conversion label. The manual and seller package for an individual unit were not inspected.

Mattress and support-position checks

The standard crib mattress is sold separately. The linked instructions specify a mattress at least 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inches and no thicker than 6 inches. Delta lists three mattress-support positions. The booklet says to use the highest position only for a newborn, move the support to its lowest position when a child can pull to standing, and maintain the stated front-rail clearance above the mattress at the highest setting. Its crib-use warning stops use when the child begins to climb out or reaches 35 inches tall, whichever occurs first. These are quoted as manufacturer instructions for the linked booklet, not a readiness assessment or an observation of an assembled Emery. Confirm that the chosen mattress and the exact instructions belong with the crib’s label.

Why the linked booklets still need a label check

The exact Emery product page links seven instruction booklets, spanning a 2017 A booklet through later versions, including a 2023 F booklet. They all describe a 4-in-1 crib family and repeat key mattress, support and conversion warnings, but their cover fields for Style, lot and date are blank. A link from Delta’s page connects these materials to the Emery page; it does not establish which revision came with a particular physical unit. The retailer or owner should match the crib-end label to the correct instructions rather than assume that every revision or rail reference is interchangeable.

Who should compare the Emery?

The Emery is a candidate for someone who wants a conventional full-size crib start, a documented later full-size crib stage, and accepts a listed 55.75-inch frame width. The two recorded finishes broaden the appearance choice without evidence of a different operating plan. Its principal tradeoffs are practical: the standard mattress is separate; the toddler and adult-bed hardware are additional checks; and the page’s daybed-rail inclusion claim should be verified against the seller’s exact package. There is no manufacturer-documented mini, bassinet or midi crib setup, and the reviewed sources do not document wheels for the sleep arrangement.

Delta’s listing makes GREENGUARD Gold and JPMA-related claims. They remain manufacturer claims here; no independent certification lookup or product test was performed. A narrow SaferProducts.gov query for “7380” returned no records, but it is not a complete recall search or lot-level clearance. Before use, check the actual crib label, the corresponding instructions, the exact mattress, the parts required for any conversion and current safety notices. For the library’s fit answer, see the crib-fit guide or open the same full-size, later-stage and 56-inch finder scenario.
