Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Are wheels documented on the full-size Jenny Lind crib?
Yes. DaVinci describes rolling wheels and says they can be locked to keep the crib stationary; do not treat the wheels as permission to move an occupied crib.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the base M7391 crib include its toddler-bed conversion kit?
No. The product page identifies the M3199 as sold separately; verify that exact kit and its hardware if the toddler arrangement is important.
Explore this need in the finder →What mattress size does the Jenny Lind manual require?
The M7391 manual requires a full-size crib mattress at least 51 5/8 by 27 1/4 inches, no thicker than 6 inches, with no more than a 3 cm gap at the sides under its check. The product page does not establish that mattress as part of the base crib item.
Explore this need in the finder →This is a source-based assessment of DaVinci's Jenny Lind M7391, not a report of assembly or use. Its clearest practical distinction is the combination of a listed 29-inch full-size crib, included lockable rolling casters, and a separately purchased M3199 toddler-bed kit. The vintage spindle look is easy to recognize, but the buying decision should turn on those exact package and setup details rather than the familiar “3-in-1” label.
One M7391 family, several finish codes
DaVinci's current product data identifies Forest Green M7391FRGR, Ebony M7391E, Blush Pink M7391BL, Rich Cherry M7391C, White M7391W, Navy M7391V, Honey M7391HY and Walnut M7391L. I found no evidence that those finish variants change the crib's size or conversion path, so they are treated here as finish choices within one M7391 family. The manufacturer image on this page shows the Walnut M7391L crib. Match the exact SKU to the offer; a finish name or lifestyle image is not a package list.
DaVinci lists the assembled crib at 55 inches long, 29 inches wide and 41 inches high, with a 36.2-pound assembled weight and a 52-by-28-inch interior. That is the narrowest of the full-size DaVinci examples reviewed so far: Hunter M25001 is listed at 29.5 inches and Marley W4901 at 29.75. These are outside product dimensions, not a room plan. Leave additional space for access, nearby furniture, delivery and later reconfiguration.
Casters are a real feature, with a boundary
Unlike the reviewed Hunter, the Jenny Lind page says rolling wheels are included and can be locked to keep the crib stationary; the M7391 manual shows how to assemble the casters. This makes it a meaningful option when documented wheels are essential. The manual's instructions do not turn a crib into an occupied travel bed: lock the wheels as instructed when the crib is in its intended stationary position, and do not infer an extra mode from a photograph.
The product page lists four adjustable mattress-support positions. Its instructions say to lower the mattress once a child can pull to standing and to stop using the crib if the child begins climbing out or reaches 35 inches. The same manual specifies a full-size crib mattress at least 51 5/8 by 27 1/4 inches, no thicker than 6 inches, with a side gap no greater than 3 centimeters under its check. Those are M7391 instructions, not universal advice for every crib or a substitute for the manual supplied with the exact unit.
Three arrangements do not mean three complete beds in the carton
The manufacturer describes a crib, toddler-bed and daybed path. It names the M3199 toddler-bed conversion kit as sold separately, so the base crib listing alone does not establish that later rail hardware is present. DaVinci also offers mattress selection as an add-on or bundle choice; the product page is not evidence that a standard full-size mattress comes with the bare crib item. If you are comparing offers, ask for the exact contents and confirm the M3199 code if the toddler stage matters.
The daybed warning in the M7391 manual sets an intended minimum age of 15 months and a maximum weight of 50 pounds. Do not automatically carry a warning from one configuration into another without checking the relevant instructions. The sources reviewed do not establish an adult full-size bed conversion, and a daybed is not that same stage. Keep the manual with the crib and follow the diagrams for the arrangement actually in use.
A recall note for used and older-stock M7391s
There is an important unit-level check for this family. CPSC recall 16-002 names the M7391 Jenny Lind, but limits the affected group to units manufactured from May through December 2012 with specified serial numbers beginning with N00; the notice offered a replacement mattress support. A current model name by itself does not prove that a particular unit belongs to that cohort, and an empty exact-name SaferProducts.gov query does not cancel the CPSC notice. For a used or older-stock crib, read the production label and compare its date and complete serial number with the official recall notice before purchase. Do not buy or use a unit identified as recalled unless the manufacturer/CPSC remedy instructions have been followed.
Who should compare Jenny Lind?
Keep the M7391 on the list if a conventional full-size crib, a 29-inch listed width and manufacturer-documented lockable casters are all useful, and if buying the mattress and toddler kit separately is acceptable. It is a weaker fit when the base offer must include a full-size mattress or toddler rail, when an adult-bed route is required, or when the total room footprint must be established from a product width alone. Its casters set it apart from Hunter's documented arrangements, while the narrower body distinguishes it from Marley and Lainey Bobbins.
Before ordering, verify the exact finish SKU, base-crate contents, M3199 kit if needed, mattress dimensions and current seller terms. For used or older-stock items, screen the label against the CPSC serial/date scope. The Walnut image here shows the crib form and a mattress, but the mattress is not part of the base M7391 crib item. This review did not test assembly, fit, coatings, durability or safety performance.
