A useful fit for

A useful comparison for a two-tone design and a 29.5-inch listed full-size crib width, with its transition accessories planned as separate items.

The main tradeoff

The standard crib mattress and M19699/M5789 conversion parts are not established as included in the base offer, and the frame material listing includes engineered wood as well as pine.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does Marisol meet a 29.5-inch outside-width limit for a full-size crib?

Yes, the manufacturer lists an assembled width of 29.5 inches. That is the crib's product dimension, not space for access, conversion work, or nearby furniture.

Is a standard full-size crib mattress established as included with the base Marisol?

No. The manufacturer presents mattress selections separately; verify the exact package and use the F30301 manual's size, thickness, and gap instructions.

Which Marisol conversion parts must be checked separately?

The F30301 manual identifies a separate M19699 toddler-bed rail and M5789 full-size-bed rails. A later adult-size bed is not an additional full-size crib arrangement.

The Carter’s by DaVinci Marisol F30301 is a full-size crib distinguished by its two-tone finish and contrasting, popsicle-shaped feet. Its listed assembled footprint is 54 inches long, 29.5 inches wide, and 35 inches high. That makes its stated width a useful boundary for a measured room plan: it is half an inch narrower than the Jayden M5981 and the same width as the Sammy Scallop M27801, but those numbers describe the products, not the extra working space around them. Leave room to reach the crib, move bedding, bring the frame into the nursery, and perform any later conversion; a product-dimension filter cannot calculate those clearances.

A distinct style with a separate-part conversion path

The manufacturer calls the Marisol a four-in-one model and lists crib, toddler-bed, daybed, and full-size-bed arrangements. That list describes reconfigurations over time, not a four-piece package. The F30301 manual identifies M19699 as a separate toddler-bed conversion rail and M5789 as the full-size-bed rail; DaVinci’s conversion compatibility page also lists a universal full-size bunkie board for the family. The exact adult-bed mattress and support package needs its own review rather than being inferred from the crib’s mattress dimensions. Check which pieces a particular offer contains and whether the finish-matched or compatible kit is available before assigning value to the conversion count.

The current crib offer presents mattress choices separately, so the base F30301 should not be treated as a crib-plus-mattress carton. The manual requires a standard full-size crib mattress measuring at least 51 5/8 by 27 1/4 inches and no more than six inches thick; it also includes a gap warning. Use that rule for the crib mode and read the separate instructions for later beds. A mattress pictured on the manufacturer’s page or in the reference photo is only part of the styled image unless the exact seller offer says it is included.

How to read the footprint and setup details

DaVinci lists the Marisol’s outside dimensions as 54 by 29.5 by 35 inches, its assembled weight as 48.5 pounds, interior crib dimensions as 52 by 28 inches, four mattress-support positions, and a 50-pound maximum. The manufacturer also states a 135-pound slat-strength figure. These numbers are not interchangeable: the 29.5-inch outside width is for room planning; the interior size and the manual’s minimum mattress dimensions describe the sleeping area; and the maximum weight and stop conditions belong to use instructions rather than a fit guarantee. The manual says to lower the mattress when the child can pull to standing and to stop using the crib when the child begins climbing out or reaches 35 inches. It also has a separate warning in the conversion instructions; follow that mode-specific text rather than carrying crib limits into a later bed.

For assembly, the instruction booklet asks for two people and a Phillips screwdriver, which is not included; it also says not to use a power screwdriver or substitute parts. That is practical information for planning delivery and setup, but not a claim that we assembled the crib or measured how long it takes. The four height positions give more setup choices, yet the manual’s safety directions—not a visual impression of the rails—should decide when to lower the support.

Materials, finish, and what the references establish

The product page describes solid New Zealand pine together with TSCA-compliant engineered wood, a non-toxic multi-step finish, and GREENGUARD Gold certification. We report those as maker statements; no component-by-component material map or independent emissions test was performed for this assessment. The two current finish SKUs in the retrieved manufacturer product data are Cove Blue/Powder Blue (F30301CVBPB) and White/Washed Natural (F30301WNX). The reviewed photograph is the two-tone blue version, not evidence that other finishes differ in crib dimensions or function.

Where Marisol is a useful comparison

Keep Marisol in the comparison when the two-tone detailing is appealing and a listed 29.5-inch width fits the initial measurement. It is a narrower stated footprint than Jayden, but not narrower than the manufacturer-listed width of Sammy Scallop. Both the transition rail and adult-bed rail are separate parts, and the mattress is not established as included in the base offer. If the goal is a single easy-to-verify package rather than a future conversion plan, compare the exact carton contents and ongoing accessory availability instead of counting stages. The catalog’s matching result is not a safety certification or a room-fit measurement. This is a source-based product assessment only: we did not purchase, assemble, test, or claim to use the Marisol.
