Poppy 4-in-1 Convertible Crib review

A full-size crib family documented in a frozen Delta U.S. Cribs collection row and an exact W128130 product record. Delta describes three successive later forms—toddler bed, daybed and sofa—alongside the crib. The standard-size mattress is sold separately; the listed width is 54.25 inches.

A useful fit for

A documented full-size crib option for households comparing a 54.25-inch listed frame width and sequential toddler-bed, daybed or sofa arrangements. Its exact mattress and later-stage parts require separate checks.

The main tradeoff

The standard-size crib mattress and W100725 toddler guardrail are sold separately. Delta lists conflicting depth dimensions, and the exact daybed/sofa rail, booklet edition, individual carton contents and physical unit condition were not confirmed.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Will Poppy meet a 54.5-inch maximum for the full-size crib frame?

Yes on the listed outside width: Delta lists 54.25 inches, so the 54.5-inch selectable ceiling admits it. This is not room clearance, and the source page gives conflicting depth values.

Does the Poppy purchase include its standard-size crib mattress?

No. Delta says the standard-size crib mattress is sold separately; its booklets give a minimum 27 1/4 by 51 5/8-inch mattress footprint and a maximum thickness of 6 inches.

Does Delta document wheels in a Poppy crib arrangement?

No documented Poppy plan includes wheels. The manufacturer page and reviewed W128130 booklets describe stationary crib and later furniture arrangements, not a wheeled setup.

This is a document-based assessment of the Delta Children Poppy W128130, not a hands-on review. The frozen U.S. Cribs collection snapshot recorded a Poppy row on October 31, 2026. Delta's current product record identifies the full model as 6269255581896 and its observed SKU as W128130-1372 Midnight Grey with Natural (UPC 080213099763). A separate older product-data record and its selected pages identify W128130-1359 Grey with Natural (UPC 080213105198) and W128130-123 Bianca White with Natural (UPC 080213099671). Delta's description names all three finishes; the main record carries 1372 while the separate record carries 1359 and 123. The records and pages establish three exact finish configurations under one model name, not three different crib mechanisms. The older finish pages say those SKU pages are no longer available, which is not a statement about live inventory of the whole family.

The main product page includes a discontinued notice inside a separate “Complete the Look” recommendation block tied to a nested record; its main W128130 page and the frozen Cribs row are still separately identifiable. I do not use that embedded notice by itself to label the captured W128130 crib an earlier model or to claim any current stock. Treat the exact finish, SKU and physical crib label as the dependable identity checks.

Four arrangements, used one at a time

Delta describes a full-size crib that can later become a toddler bed, daybed or sofa. These are successive reconfigurations, not four simultaneous sleep surfaces. The reviewed W128130 page and booklets do not document an adult full-size-bed conversion, nor a mini, midi or bassinet arrangement. A “4-in-1” label is not evidence that every rail or an additional mattress is in one box.

The product page says its daybed/sofa rail is included and that toddler guardrail W100725 is sold separately. The A, C and D booklets linked by Delta each show later bed arrangements, with W100725 named for the toddler-bed setup; the daybed/sofa instructions call for a conversion rail. I could not establish an exact part-number bridge from the page's included-rail description to the booklet parts, or which edition belongs with a particular SKU, frame style or lot. No physical carton was inspected. Before buying an open-box or used unit—or changing its configuration—match the frame's label to its own instructions, check the required hardware, and confirm that any W100725 rail is the correct part for that exact crib.

The 54.25-inch width is a product screen, not a room measurement

Delta lists the assembled Poppy at 54.25 inches wide and 34 inches high, but gives two different depths: 30.75 inches in a product-details bullet and 31 inches in a separate Dimensions section. The matching width is useful for the finder's single-axis comparison; the conflicting depth is left unresolved rather than rounded or selected silently. On the site's half-inch answer grid, a 54-inch maximum excludes the 54.25-inch frame and 54.5 inches is the first selectable ceiling that admits it. This does not account for the room's other floor axis, baseboards, door or stair access, delivery route, assembly area, nearby furniture, or space to reconfigure the crib. Measure those separately and confirm the exact model documentation.

Mattress fit and crib-use limits

The standard-size crib mattress is sold separately. The W128130 booklets specify a mattress at least 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inches, no more than 6 inches thick. Those are fit limits, not a bundle claim. The instructions show three support positions; when a child can pull to standing, the support must be moved to its lowest position. At the highest support setting, the top of the front crib side must remain at least 3 inches above the mattress surface; otherwise the support should be lowered. The crib-use warning says to stop use when the child begins to climb out or reaches 35 inches (89 cm), whichever occurs first. For the toddler bed, the instructions set a minimum user age of 15 months and a maximum weight of 50 pounds. These are model instructions, not an assessment of a particular child or an individual unit. Follow the edition that matches the actual frame.

Materials claims and missing unit-level answers

Delta says the crib uses woods such as New Zealand pine and poplar and lists GREENGUARD Gold and JPMA-related claims on its product page. Those are attributed manufacturer statements; I did not independently inspect the wood, verify certification records or test emissions, assembly, durability or safety. A narrow SaferProducts.gov query for the text W128130 returned an empty response. That limited query is not a complete recall search and does not clear an individual crib, manufacturing date, lot, condition, repair history or configuration. Check the label and current official recall information for a specific unit.

Who should compare Poppy?

Poppy is a documented full-size crib option for a household that can accommodate a 54.25-inch listed frame, accepts a separately purchased standard-size mattress, and values the maker-described path to toddler-bed, daybed and sofa arrangements. Its practical drawbacks are the unresolved depth difference, a separate toddler guardrail, and the gap between a page's included-rail statement and the exact parts in a physical box. The observed Midnight Grey with Natural, Grey with Natural and Bianca White with Natural finishes share one assessed function family, but exact SKU pages do not prove what is currently offered by a seller. This assessment summarizes manufacturer documentation, not assembly, ownership, personal measurement, testing, child use, current stock, price or customer experience.
