Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does a 54-inch full-size frame-width limit admit the observed Sonny finishes?
Delta lists the Sonny frame at 54 inches wide. On the finder's half-inch grid, a 53.5-inch maximum excludes W190130 and 54 inches is the first passing ceiling. This is the product's listed frame width only, not room, doorway, access, delivery or conversion clearance; all three observed finish SKUs are separately identified in the review.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the Sonny base listing meet a required included full-size crib mattress?
No. Delta says its standard crib mattress is sold separately. The linked booklets require at least 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inches and no more than 6 inches thick; those are fit limits, not evidence that a seller's package includes a mattress.
Explore this need in the finder →Does Sonny's 4-in-1 label promise a separate adult bed build or all conversion rails in the box?
No. The linked manual shows the daybed/loveseat sofa as one low-rail arrangement, and no adult full-size-bed conversion is documented. Delta says W100825 is the separately sold toddler guardrail and says the Daybed/Sofa Rail is included, but the manual does not identify a part number that bridges that page statement to an inspected carton; confirm the exact box and frame label.
Explore this need in the finder →This is a document-based assessment of Delta Children's Sonny W190130, not a hands-on test. The captured U.S. collection row, exact product record, three page-linked booklets and manufacturer images were reviewed. No physical crib, carton, supplied parts, assembly, seller offer or customer experience was examined.
One W190130 family, three finish identities
The captured Delta Children Cribs row identifies Sonny product record 7678308647112. Its structured data lists Chestnut W190130-836 (variant 43090297422024, UPC 080213155537), Natural with Bianca White W190130-1512 (43090297454792, UPC 080213129804), and Bianca White W190130-130 (43090297389256, UPC 080213138301). These are three exact finish configurations of one crib family; the sources establish no functional or dimensional difference. Keep the SKU distinction when checking an offer or replacement part.
Measure the listed frame, then measure the room
Delta lists an assembled width of 54 inches, height of 34.25 inches and depth of 29.75 inches, plus product and shipping weights of 59.5 and 68.3 pounds. The listed carton dimensions are 31 by 5.6 by 55.6 inches. These are maker specifications, not independent measurements. On the finder's half-inch grid, 54 inches first admits Sonny and 53.5 excludes it. This is frame width only—not space for access, delivery, assembly, nearby furniture or conversion work. Check orientation and allow separate clearance.
The page describes paneled ends, open slats and modern feet. Delta names New Zealand pine, poplar and TSCA-compliant engineered wood without mapping every material to every component. It also claims JPMA certification against CPSC/ASTM standards and a lead- and phthalate-safe finish. No independent test or certification audit was performed.
Mattress and support are part of the setup plan
The standard crib mattress is sold separately. All three linked booklets set the fit range at least 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inches and no thicker than 6 inches. That is a compatibility limit, not proof of package inclusion; a staged image or seller bundle is not a carton inventory.
The page documents three mattress-support positions. The highest is intended for a very small baby and only when the front side remains at least 3 inches above the mattress. Lower it if that clearance is not met; use the lowest position once the child can pull to standing. Stop crib use when the child begins to climb out or reaches 35 inches tall, whichever comes first. Follow the physical unit's warning label.
What the “4-in-1” description actually establishes
Delta describes a full-size crib, toddler bed, daybed and sofa. The low-rail manual shows one arrangement described as daybed or loveseat sofa, not two proven builds. No adult full-size-bed rails or instructions are documented; the “4-in-1” title does not establish an adult bed.
Toddler-bed conversion requires the separately sold W100825 guardrail, named in the booklets. The manual says not to use this mode under 15 months and sets a 50-pound maximum for the toddler bed, not the crib. Delta says the Daybed/Sofa Rail is included and the manual requires a conversion rail, but the documents do not bridge that wording to a precise part number. A physical carton was not checked, so confirm the exact box and label before relying on a part being present or compatible.
Three linked booklets do not identify the manual in a particular box
The page links three 44-page booklets: A is 44653 R1 (September 9, 2023), B is 46315 R1 (March 14, 2025), and linked C is internally headed 46315 R0 (December 3, 2025). The targeted mattress and toddler/conversion warnings agree, but the codes and dates differ. All leave Style/Lot blank and say to match the booklet to the crib-end label. No label or supplied manual was inspected, so date alone cannot identify the booklet for a particular frame. Adult assembly is required; keep small parts away until it is complete.
Who should compare Sonny—and what to verify
Shortlist Sonny for a full-size start if 54 inches of listed frame width is acceptable and a separate mattress is expected. It does not meet an included-mattress requirement. No wheels, mini, midi, bassinet or adult-bed arrangement is documented, and the rail/package bridge remains uncertain.
Jade W149130-1500 and Essex W103150 are also listed at 54 inches, so width alone does not distinguish these frames. Their reviewed booklets name toddler rail style 0094; Sonny's name W100825. Match the exact SKU and frame label instead of assuming similar Delta cribs share parts. Read Jade's assessment and read Essex's assessment.
The frozen Delta row establishes current-reference status for this edition, not stock or an offer. The W190130 SaferProducts.gov query returned HTTP 403 HTML rather than recall records; this is not evidence of no recall or unit clearance. Check current official safety information for a specific crib. No price, availability, rating, hands-on assembly or performance claim is made.
